For customers who cannot afford to run the risk of any downtime throughout
the year, OSC are able to recommend several additional resiliency options
through our various partners.
Additional resilience is provided via a secondary dedicated T1, running to
a different PoP (Point of Presence) to the first line. If possible, a
different Telecom provider will be used for the second line, terminating
on a secondary router. Hot Standby Router Protocol is used to ensure that,
should there be a problem with the primary PoP, Telco circuit, or router,
the second T1 line will seamlessly start to route IP traffic. |

The optional disaster recovery service allows clients to route email and access
the Internet via a second (cold) site in the event of an emergency.
